General Job Description

Under limited guidance performs the following activities:

  • Composes and types letters, reports, emails and documents in final form using word processor and company system.
  • In some instances, may be required to compose letters/memos/reports for managers.
  • Answers phone and takes accurate messages for managers, receives date stamps and distributes department mail.
  • Schedules appointments and maintains calendar for managers.
  • Coordinates staff meetings, business travel, seminars, etc. for all employees.
  • Maintains personnel data on unit employees well organized and updated (vacation calendar, personnel files, expense reports, etc.).
  • Responsible to order and maintain adequate level of office supplies.
  • Performs additional related administrative and clerical duties such as gathering and researching data for management reports, etc.
