A DBS check will be completed prior to starting. Kinetic Manchester is recruiting a Cable Manufacturing Operative for a rotating shift role (06:00‑14:00 / 14:00‑22:00 weekly rotation) in a company that has been operating for over 120 years and is recognised as a world‑class manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep production lines running efficiently throughout the shift
- Make minor machine adjustments to support smooth operation
- Ensure product quality standards are consistently met
- Identify and report manufacturing compliance issues
- Operate production machinery in line with SOPs and process specifications
- Complete production records including output, downtime and scrap
- Carry out 5S housekeeping standards
- Support basic fault finding using data collection and SPC charts
