Machine Operator

We operate a variety of shift patterns, including:

• Day shifts
• Late shifts
• Night shifts

Shift schedule: Week 1 (Early Shift): Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00. Week 2 (Late Shift): Monday to Thursday, 13:45 – 22:15, Friday, 13:45 – 19:45.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate Beam, Panel, Band & Upcut Saws, as well as Thicknessers and Centreless Grinders.
• Undertake machining duties to produce our standard range of PrepPro chopping boards.
• Contribute positively to team performance, working toward achieving personal and company objectives including KPIs.
• Apply company processes to support a right‑first‑time standard.
• Complete all reporting and quality check procedures.
• Carry out all necessary daily safety checks associated with the department’s equipment.
• Educate and mentor new team members on achieving maximum efficiencies.
