Key Responsibilities
- Backup Operations & Administration
- Manage and monitor dailymainframe backup operationsusingCA 1.
- Ensure successful execution of scheduled backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis.
- Validate backup logs, reports, and error messages to ensure compliance with SLAs.
- Resiliency & Disaster Recovery
- Supportdisaster recovery planning, testing, and executionfor mainframe environments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, storage, and DR teams to ensure systems can be restored within agreed RTO/RPO objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation for backup/restore and DR procedures.
- Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and data retention guidelines.
- Provide audit support related to backup and recovery controls.
