Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe DB2 System Programmer to support, administer, maintain, and enhance enterprise DB2 for z/OS environments. The role is responsible for DB2 subsystem administration, version upgrades, patching, performance tuning, troubleshooting, disaster recovery support, and ensuring the stability, availability, and security of mission-critical database platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain IBM DB2 for z/OS subsystems and related database products.
- Plan and execute DB2 version upgrades, migrations, maintenance activities, fix packs, PTFs, APARs, and patching in line with enterprise change management processes.
- Perform DB2 subsystem customization, parameter management, zPARM updates, catalog maintenance, log management, and environment configuration.
