Overview
Mainframe Network Consultant
Onsite (Data Centre), Kingston, Ontario, Canada
Contract: Up to 3 years
The consultant will act as a subject matter expert on a variety of Mainframe network maintenance and Mainframe hardware replacement and migration activities.
Technology and Skills
TCP/IP, VTAM, NNM, NDM, AT-TLS between clients/servers/M.F., VPSPRINT, Deliver and TN3270. Daily operational changes, Incident/problem management.
Closure of tickets in a timely manner, Keeping clients/management up to date on ticket status.
Strong conceptual and practical understanding of Mainframe Networking – Building new infra
structure with automation as per design criteria.
Intake and incident resolution – Integration of services such as identity, logging and monitoring.
Skills and knowledge transfer.
Solution status on various projects being worked on.
