Job Description
The position performs maintenance work associated with a variety of trades, specializing in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical fields.
Major Duties- Construction and reconstruction of structures.
- Assist in the repairs/maintenance of historic log structures.
- Construct, install, and repair doors, shelves, trim, and cabinets.
- Replace defective siding, steps, roofs, and concrete.
- Install and maintain plumbing.
- Use various hand tools, plumbing tools, painting and power tools.
- Complete minor repairs to concrete and asphalt walkways, roads, and parking lots.
- Operate and maintain heavy and light equipment that supports maintenance operations.
- Operate chainsaws and assist in the removal of hazard trees or monitor the performance of vendors engaged in this task.
