Job Description
What the role is:
You oversee environmental health and hygiene compliance across defence facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, vector control, and public health safety through inspections, surveillance, outbreak management, and outreach initiatives.
What you will be working on:- Conduct routine environmental health audits and perform vector surveillance, including specimen collection, sorting, and taxonomic identification
- Monitor environmental health risks and support investigations during outbreaks or hygiene lapses
- Manage surveillance data, produce reports, and support public health outreach, outbreak management, and training initiatives
- Coordinate with external partners, manage contracts, and assist in policy development and standard operating procedure reviews
