Be a part of Heidelberg Materials as their Environment & Sustainability Manager in the Southern Prairies. This key role focuses on compliance management and sustainability in a full-time capacity.
Reporting to the Director of Sustainable Resource Development, you will oversee environmental compliance and performance at facilities across Southern Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Your responsibilities include obtaining permits, conducting assessments, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards within the construction materials realm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the preparation of environmental permits and reports
• Conduct site inspections and audits for compliance
• Manage stakeholder engagement for new aggregate reserves
• Identify capital needs for environmental improvements
• Train staff on environmental guidelines and compliance
