Manager Regional Dry Container Flow Planning & Steering

We are looking for a Manager Regional Dry Container Flow Planning & Steering to join our Equipment team, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Regional Dry Container Planning & Steering Manager owns the regional repositioning plan for standards and reports to the Administrative Senior Manager Regional Container Flow Planning & Steering.

• Manage imbalances and steer Hapag-Lloyd’s global standard container fleet on a regional level by planning empty repositionings and conducting bookings for empty shipments.
• Define and implement measures to increase the utilization of Hapag-Lloyd’s container fleet, considering fleet and repositioning costs and generated contribution levels.
• Ensure optimal utilization of available vessel capacities for the repositioning of empty containers in cooperation with Trade Management, Network, and Regional Operations.
