Hours Of Work: Monday to Friday, Rotating 6:2, 2:10
Location: Halesowen
The Role
Follow relevant procedures in the production operations in the machining of components, ensuring finished components meet the necessary quality standards and delivery timescales.
Responsibilities
- Interpret 2D drawings and specifications
- Plan and work out machining features and sequences
- Select correct machines, tools, speeds, feeds, and lubricants
- Set up, locate, and clamp workpieces (centres, banding and steadies)
- Perform dimensional inspection and layout mark off
- Inspect components at various stages to ensure quality standards
- Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments
- Deburr components for safe material movement
- Operate overhead cranes (LOLER training provided)
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised workplace
