Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Colchester
Salary: up to £40,000
Prime Appointments is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established industrial manufacturing company in Colchester. This role involves working closely with Production and Manufacturing teams to improve processes, support daily operations, and drive continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and update Standard Operating Procedures
Support and guide production staff to ensure smooth operations
Quickly resolve production issues and perform root cause analysis
Recommend and justify capital investments with clear ROI
Lead and support Lean manufacturing and quality improvement initiatives
Assist with New Product Introductions to ensure manufacturability
Manage tooling and fixture procurement and replacements.
Help maintain equipment and improve TPM practice
