Overview
Provides tooling, equipment, process design, and ability to produce reviews, Lean leadership and other technical support for manufacturing processes in the Tupelo facility.
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements and upgrades where appropriate. May develop capital expense requests and proposals for submittal.
- Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing to meet customer deliveries.
- Identify and implement waste reduction solutions as part of Continuous Improvement program.
- Participate on and implement preventive actions recommended by the Hazard Elimination Team.
- Lead selected Kaizen events to reduce waste and improve process flow.
- Conduct production/manufacturing reviews to ensure product designs are producible and cost effective.
