Mass Properties Supervisor

Leads the development and implementation of vehicle system strategies to achieve efficient vehicle design, mass (weight), mass properties and customer attributes. Duties include:
- Develop and deliver global platform and vehicle mass strategies to optimize customer attributes and Fuel Economy / Emission/ Safety certifications simultaneously in multiple global markets;
- Develop models to predict future vehicle ideal states, utilizing statistical, deterministic and parametric modeling techniques;
- Work with interfacing commodity engineering activities to ensure successful implementation of optimized design and attribute solutions;
- Complete in-depth analyses of competitive vehicles to develop forecasts of attribute performance, future capabilities and changing industry “standard” technologies.
**Basic Position Qualifications**:
- 5 years’ experience in product development and/or automotive industry;
