Our ConMet - Canton facility is looking for a team member to join our Molding department technical team. Material Set-up Technicians at our facility move raw material, set up and monitor materials and drying systems for presses.
What You Will Do:
Communicate with outgoing/incoming material set-up technician regarding daily instructions, production schedule and status. Determine daily workflow by referring to the molding schedule.Operate a forklift and hand truck to transfer materials to and from warehouse. Complete daily forklift checklist.Maintain all raw material going to presses and ensure that they are identified and covered at all times.Determine the type and amount of resin, colorant and blowing agents needed for each machine based on the Process Sheets.Maintain material, colorant and blowing agents at presses and dryers to ensure that they never fall below minimum levels.Transport and/or ch...
