Job Overview

KBR is seeking a highly skilled Materials & Corrosion Engineer to support Oil & Gas projects in the Middle East & Africa from its Abu Dhabi operating center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Material Selection Report, Material Selection Diagrams, Materials & Corrosion Philosophy Documents, and Cathodic Protection Scope of Work/Design Basis and Material Take Off.
  • Perform corrosion rate modelling using recognised software such as ECE 5.8 (minimum) as part of the material selection process.
  • Produce calculations and technical reports per project requirements.
  • Apply and adhere to Industry Standards/Recommended Practices (e.g., NACE MR0175/ISO 15156, MR0103/ISO ).
  • Conduct Corrosion Risk Assessment studies and Material & Corrosion Audit processes.
