Overview 

The primary role of the Team Lead is to perform duties as required by a department head and/or Supervisor, to coordinate the inventory and material for a small group of employees. The Lead designation is that of a “working lead”, where the majority of the employee’s time is hands on as a functioning team member.

Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Ensure the crew arrives on time, ready and fit for duty at the start of each shift. 

  • Host a morning meeting with crew at start of shift to delegate work for the day. 

  • Review any job-related issues or safety concerns. 

  • Ensure workers have proper material and tools to complete daily tasks. 

  • Trains new workers on methods and procedures specific to the area of expertise. 

  • Familiarize self with and/or request training concerning new equipment.
