Mazatrol CNC Machinist (Weekend Shift)

Our World leading client has an immediate requirement for several CNC Machinists for their new Weekend Shift. Successful candidates will be highly experienced with running complex 5 axis machining centres, ideally using Mazatrol Smooth operating software. Position Description: Setting and operating of 5 axis CNC machining centres for the manufacture of high precision, high quality, and low volume machined parts used in the assembly of critical systems supplied to the maritime industry. Responsibilities: Responsible for machining of parts on 5 axis CNC machining centres Stropping, lifting and loading materials (use of slings and overhead cranes) Working to engineering drawings and making CNC programming edits Tooling set up, support with program and process improvement activities Undertaking program prove out activities, parts measurement and inspection Ensuring product quality and conformance to specification Perform machine TPM activities and ensure good area housekeeping Work safely ...
