Workshop Mechanic / Assistant Mechanic / Diesel Engine Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Do routine maintenance based on a firm preventative upkeep schedule.
• Perform supervised mechanical repair services on company vehicles, including mixers, pumps, and other equipment, as required.
• Analyze mechanical breakdowns and record findings with recommended remedies.
• Respond to on-site breakdowns as requested to aid in vehicle repair.
• Operate the Readyjet device as required.
• Proper use and handling of workshop tools, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Keep personal tools clean and in good condition.
• Maintain good shop floor discipline and safety practices throughout the workshop.
• Continuously improve your own technical knowledge.
• Follow the company health and safety guidelines and workshop quality procedures.
