Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical equipment and systems for beneficiation plants, including crushing, screening, conveying, and separation applications
- Produce detailed plant layouts to optimise material flow, equipment placement, and operational efficiency
- Design welded structural components such as chutes, supports, platforms, housings, and equipment frames
- Generate detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor in collaboration with the drawing office
- Perform engineering calculations, design verifications, and strength assessments to ensure compliance with specifications
- Support process engineers during test work to validate designs and optimise equipment performance
