Job Description
Proactive Personnel are working closely with a large manufacturer, to recruit a skilled Mechanical Engineer for their team in Ellesmere Port.
The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and improving mechanical systems and devices within a busy manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of mechanical systems, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes.
Knowledge and experience required:
* Boiler / steam systems
* Industrial building services (sprinkler systems, CHP, process cooling and heating)
* Hydraulics systems
* Pneumatic systems
* Highbay racking
* Conveyor systems
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and machinery, including bearings, shafts, hydraulics, pneumatics, boiler and plant equipment
