The successful candidate must be able to design, develop, and test mechanical components, systems, and machinery; manage project delivery and ensure that tasks are completed within budget and on time; oversee installation of machinery; develop maintenance schedules; ensure conformance with safety regulations; investigate machine breakdowns or malfunctions; create technical drawings, diagrams, schematics, or specifications to clarify design details; analyze customer needs and product requirements to create a design.
