Air Conditioning (ACMV/HVAC) Drafter
translates mechanical engineering specifications and rough sketches into precise technical blueprints and 3D models. They play a vital role in the construction and building services industry by mapping out ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts.
Core Responsibilities- Plan & Draft: Develop detailed CAD/BIM layouts for Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) systems including ducts, chillers, and piping.
- Clash Detection: Identify and resolve physical conflicts between mechanical services and architectural, structural, or electrical elements.
- Documentation: Produce comprehensive shop drawings, tender packages, and as-built drawings upon project completion.
- Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site personnel to ensure designs align with real-world site conditions.
