Mechanical Equipment Engineer

The role is located in Peterborough, Ontario and reports to the Mechanical Equipment Engineering Manager. The engineer will set the technical direction, act as a technical interface point to both internal and external customers and focus on design of mechanical equipment and systems for CANDU reactors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of design, analysis, test and commissioning of complex equipment and systems throughout the entire product life cycle.
• Prepare, approve and lead design documentation including technical documents, drawings and BOMs, technical specifications, development and test plans, and engineering quotations.
