Summary The Medical Instrument Technician (Polysomnography)- Lead will perform a variety of Neurodiagnostic and polysomnographic testing as well as the application of durable medical equipment (DME) program for any sleep related breathing disorder for patients. Within the Northern California care system and for patients covered under any sharing agreement with other facilities. Responsibilities The incumbent will perform patient care duties in sleep medicine (home sleep apnea testing, CPAP clinics, PAP mask fittings, PAP device downloading and programming, polysomnography scoring, MSLT and PAP nap testing) and additional Lead Technician functions which will include but is not limited to: Distribute and balance the workload among technicians that they will be leading, with established work flow or job specialization, assure timely accomplishment of the assigned workload, and assure efficient, high quality and compassionate patient care. that each employee has enough work to keep them bu...
