Medical Laboratory Technologist - Next-Generation Sequencing and Immunohistochemistry, Advanced Diagnostics
The Medical Laboratory Technologist reports to the Manager of the Advanced Diagnostics team.
Responsibilities
- Perform the range of tests and procedures related to immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology
- Perform, interpret and release results
- Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technology
- Ensure that the work of assigned staff meets quality and safety standards; identify opportunities for improvement
- Perform projects, validations and proficiency testing as directed by charge technologist or director
Qualifications
- Medical laboratory technologist with CSMLS certification
- Current registration with CMLTO in good standing
