Job Description

Under the direction of the Second Level Services Manager, the incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing the Youth Mentorship program to ensure that mentors are supported and that the new students are engaged through appropriate activities that will aid their transition.

Qualifications

  • Appropriate educational qualifications to manage the tasks and responsibilities of the position
  • Practical experience working with First Nations Youth would be an asset
  • Be able to participate meaningfully in the planning, development and implementation of the program
  • Commitment to participate in training and development
  • Experience in planning and facilitating workshops
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work without supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Current Criminal Record check with a Vulnerable Persons check
