Overview

Catering experience and a qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is essential for this post. You will be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surrounds, including cooking, organisation, and supervision of food service.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff working in the kitchen.
  • Ensure HACCP procedures are followed and complete required paperwork, including electronic returns.
  • Understand dietary and nutritional needs.
  • Transport and serve meals; perform general kitchen and dining room duties (washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables).
  • Clean the kitchen and its surroundings.

Qualifications
