Mobile Fabric Engineer

Equans is looking for a Mobile Fabric Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. This is a permanent, full‑time role, working 37.5 hours per week.

Working hours are as follows: Week 1 Monday‑Friday 6am‑2pm and Week 2 Monday‑Friday 10am‑6pm. There is also an on‑call rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across all building areas, including joinery, basic plumbing, painting, plastering, tiling, flooring, roofing, fence fitting, ground repair, door repair and general building repairs.
• Complete minor repairs and remedial works to doors, windows, locks, ironmongery, ceilings, walls, fixtures and fittings.
• Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to required specifications and within set timeframes.
• Respond promptly to reactive tasks to reduce disruption and meet contractual KPIs and SLAs.
