Motorpool Service Technician/Mechanical Technician

Job Description

The Motorpool Service Technician is responsible for maintaining, overhauling and repairing motor industrial vehicles, automobiles and power generating sets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Motor Industrial Vehicle and Automotive Equipment Maintenance

• Repairs, overhauls and maintains light and heavy vehicle engines, transmission and brake systems in accordance with the repairs and maintenance plan duly approved by the CMD Manager and/or Maintenance Planner ensuring optimum vehicle performance and longer service life.
• Checks and maintains vehicle hydraulic systems, under-chassis components and automotive systems ensuring that defective parts are immediately repaired or replaced if necessary, and that optimum performance is maintained.
