Role Summary Manage and support Microsoft SQL Server databases in a 24x7 mission-critical environment, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and compliance. 
Key Responsibilities Administer SQL Server (2016/2019/2022) environments 
Manage AlwaysOn, clustering, replication, and HA/DR setups 
Handle backups, restores, and disaster recovery validation 
Perform performance tuning and query optimization 
Resolve incidents like blocking, deadlocks, and outages 
Implement database security (encryption, access control, auditing) 
Support patching, upgrades, migrations, and DR drills 
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance readiness 
Provide 24x7 on‑call production support
