   About the role:  
 The Municipal Building Surveyor will:
 
 Ensure Building applications are processed in an efficient manner and in accordance with the statutory requirements under the provisions of the Building Act and Regulations
 Prepare reports for management, Council, Building Appeals Board and other Building forums as necessary.
 Provide effective, high quality and comprehensive advice to all Council’s customers (internal and external) regarding Building Services and manage the monitoring of legislative compliance.
