Navel Architect (Permanent/ Contract)

Responsibilities Be responsible for the design of ship hulls and superstructures, following class and safety standards. Interpret structure-related documents and drawings. Come up with structural material-take off and drawings for tender submission. Ensure conformance to contractual technical specifications, classification and statutory rules/regulations. Prepare technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and calculations, for internal use and regulatory compliance. Utilise specialised software and tools for hydrodynamic analysis, stability assessment, structural analysis, and other relevant calculations. Evaluate and ensure the structural integrity, stability, and sea keeping performance of vessels through rigorous analysis and testing. Provide expertise in load distribution, weight estimation, and stability criteria to optimize vessel design.
