About the Role
We’re working with a well‑established organisation in Hawke’s Bay looking for a Network Engineer to join their internal IT team. This is a great opportunity for someone operating at an intermediate / Level 2 Engineer level who enjoys practical networking and infrastructure work and wants to continue building their technical capability.
What you’ll actually do
- Support networking, switching, and infrastructure projects
- Assist with network deployments and ongoing improvement work
- Troubleshoot networking and infrastructure issues
- Support wireless and connectivity environments
- Work across Microsoft-based systems with some Linux exposure
- Assist with operational support and day‑to‑day infrastructure activities
- Work closely with senior engineers and internal IT teams
- Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement initiatives
