Network Engineer

Network Engineer functions in three main areas: Operations, Planning, and Management.OperationsActively monitoring the network and responding to alerts and verifying notifications sent by network monitoring and management systems.Acting as first line of support for network incidents, performing initial troubleshooting and triage before categorizing and escalating incident tickets.Maintaining incident management and documentation throughout the incident's lifecycle.PlanningCoordinating and communicating maintenance windows.Working with local site IT leaders and Network administrators to provide maintenance windows and describe maintenance impact according to thorough impact analysis.Keeping track of license, maintenance, and support contracts and their expiry dates.Escalating to management when expiration dates are near.ManagementDocumenting Infrastructure changes (Move, Add, Change, and Delete – MACD) for infrastructure devices and Network Tools.Maintaining Asset management system a...
