Network Engineer

Manage wired and wireless network access infrastructure; and support Data Centre network operations

• Administer and support network infrastructure including network routers, switches, wireless access points, WLAN controllers, AAA servers and encryptors
• Respond and diagnose tickets related to network access and performance issues
  • Service and close support tickets to relocate or add client endpoints' wired network access
  • Service and close support tickets to resolve client endpoints' wireless access
• Troubleshoot, triage and resolve client endpoints' 802.1X authentication/authorization access issues and elevate necessary L2 and L3 issues
• Monitor availability of network access and provide immediate response and investigation to system alerts
• Troubleshoot and assist with root cause analysis of incidents replacing failed network components
