To assess, diagnose, and monitor neurological disorders by studying the electrical activity of the nervous system using specialized tests and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform neurophysiological tests (EEG, EMG, Evoked Potentials)
- Interpret test results to aid diagnosis
- Collaborate with neurologists and surgeons
- Monitor neural function during surgeries
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Stay updated with neurophysiology advancements
- Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments
- Proficiency in EEG, EMG, NCS, and EP testing
- Data interpretation and diagnostic analysis
- Familiarity with neurophysiology equipment and software
- Understanding of nervous system anatomy and physiology
- Ability to stay updated with latest research and technologies
