What you'll do on a typical day:
Prepare work for our customer and pre-brief drivers at the Start of shiftCo-ordinate the transport operations on site to meet both customer and company expectationsLiaise with line management to ensure the effective use of Customer vehicles / subcontractors minimising the cost impact to the businessDaily Report of customer KPIs and volume calculationsExecute customers plan and make changes where necessary to limit stock outsEnsure that all drivers are compliant with the working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are logged and communicated to management and customer in a timely mannerFirst line of communication for the driver's workforce. They need to be computer literate and very good at dealing with people.
Pay rate is £15.57 per hour, Monday to Friday, 11 hours per day with a 1-hour lunch which is unpaid.
