POSITION SUMMARY

  • Shift-based role in a 24x7x365 facility
  • Monitor BlackBerry Infrastructure and Services
  • Coordinate Incident Response
  • Remediates issues where possible
  • Implement Structured Changes
  • Document Events

    • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor the BlackBerry Infrastructure using a variety of tools and react to alerts
  • Log alerts and relate them to an incident or a Change
  • Be aware of resolution targets for all Services
  • Engage relevant Support Teams and work with them as a team until the incident is resolved
  • Be prepared to escalate an issue to Management in order to drive resolution
  • Document and record steps taken towards resolution of an incident and add this to the knowledge database for future referral.
