Senior Backend Developer – Node.js, MongoDB, OAuth, Banking/Finance
Location
Hybrid 3–4 days a week in Toronto, ON (4x onsite requirement)
Visa Status & Duration
Independent Consultant; 12+ months (Long Term Contract or CTH)
What You Will Do
- Develop robust backend services using Node.js, JavaScript, and REST API design, focusing on scalability and low-latency processing.
- Design and implement REST APIs with OAuth authentication.
- Optimize data persistence and retrieval strategies using MongoDB, ensuring high availability for complex client data structures.
- Explore and implement WebAssembly (Wasm) modules to improve performance for computationally intensive tasks within the browser or server‑side environments.
- Modernize legacy CLM infrastructure by transitioning to a cloud‑native, microservices‑oriented architecture.
