NPDI Sourcing Engineer

Job Description
Vertiv is hiring an NPDI Sourcing Engineer. As a member of the Global Procurement Team, the person will lead the sourcing activities for an assigned Line of Business. This position will be the designated point of contact managing all sourcing activities related to new product introduction, product cost reductions, production transfers, supply chain design, and time to market. Working closely with the Engineering and Commodity teams to monitor critical prototype parts, determine e-Auctions opportunities, perform risk & resiliency assessment, and be responsible for reporting status to agreed KPIs.

• Manage all Procurement deliverables as new products transition from ideation to pilot phase and into mass production with an exceptional level of speed, quality, and performance to exceed customer expectations.
