Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients ensuring accurate dosage and patient safety through meticulous calculations and adherence to established protocols
  • Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment including gamma cameras and PET scanners to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
  • Prepare radiopharmaceuticals according to strict guidelines handling radioactive materials with precision and radiation safety measures
  • Position patients correctly for imaging procedures and the specific anatomical region being examined

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Minimum of 5+ year of clinical experience in nuclear medicine, demonstrating proficiency in various imaging procedures
