Aecon is seeking a Welding Engineer to drive welding excellence on the RFBR project at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. Ensure compliance with the highest industry standards while fostering innovation.
This role serves under the Welding Program Manager, focusing on organizing and controlling welding work, documentation preparation, and technical guidance. Your leadership will contribute to the refurbishment of critical reactor systems, aligning activities with ASME, CWB, and AWS standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the technical execution of welding projects
• Prepare Aecon Technical Specifications and RFQs
• Recommend vendors based on performance and specifications
• Review construction codes for accurate technical direction
• Liaise with the Welding Center of Excellence
