Job Description

  • Master’s degree in Nursing (or recognized equivalent) 
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Registered Nurse in the Extended Class [RN(EC)] certification
  • Additional specialization or certifications in cardiology, adult and/or gerontological care, palliative care or chronic disease management
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in an acute care setting.
  • Experience as a cardiology or heart failure NP or Clinical Nurse Specialist preferred.
  • Experience with nursing research, program planning, and evaluation preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in heart failure and/or chronic disease management.
  • Ability to travel and provide care at both the RVH Main Site and the Rizzardo Health & Wellness Centre.
