Nursery Operator

Overview

We are seeking a greenhouse and nursery manager for a floriculture production site. The role requires oversight of both greenhouse and outdoor operations in a cold/refrigerated, hot, and odorous environment. Relocation costs are not covered; candidates must be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Plan germination by considering water saturation, light, and temperature.
• Direct greenhouse and nursery operations, implementing sustainable practices such as permaculture.
• Organize greenhouse and nursery activities and establish required environmental conditions.
• Oversee deleafing and insect, disease, and weed control for horticultural crops.
• Manage planting, transplanting, feeding, and spraying operations.
• Determine type and quantity of stock to grow.
• Establish work schedules and supervise 5–10 staff members across various areas.
