Nursing Assistant

We are looking for a Nursing Assistant to join the Haldon Eating Disorder Service based on a ward at Wonford House, Exeter. The post holder will assist with therapeutic meal times and various ward activities.

The Haldon team are compassionate and supportive, and genuinely committed to working together with the people who use our services, who come from diverse backgrounds, cultures and experiences.

Main duties of the job

• Assist with therapeutic meal times and various ward activities.
• Assist multi-disciplinary team members in the delivery of care and treatment to people using services. The care will encompass social, physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Undertake practical procedures under the supervision of trained nursing staff.
