Job Summary
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: • Join a great team of experienced Laborists and Nurse Midwives, co-managing with both residents and Nurse Midwives • Focus on giving inpatient care to pregnant women, managing labor and delivery on both an emergency and routine basis. • Flexible 8/24-hour in-house shifts per month • Staff of surgical Physician Assistants to assist with scheduled caesarians • Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre, PA averages 2,000 deliveries per year supported by a level III NICU. • Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA averages 900 deliveries per year supported by a level II NICU. • Competitive straight salary model plus recruitment incentives • Excellent benefits package, including Malpractice & Tail coverage • A 5% employer contribution to 401(k) plan • Relocation – two options to choose from • $4,500 for CME • Flexible schedule
