Job Description

About the Role

Permanent, full‑time occupational therapist with a 35‑hour working week. Hybrid working model – part of the time on site, part remote. Essential Car User Allowance and a full valid driving licence are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out holistic, strengths‑based occupational therapy assessments for autistic adults, including sensory and functional assessments.
  • Develop and implement tailored, evidence‑based intervention plans that promote independence, positive risk‑taking and wellbeing.
  • Offer input into sensory and environmental strategies to support regulation, participation and engagement.
  • Design and deliver group workshops on life skills, sensory regulation, social participation and independence-building.
  • Recommend and facilitate equipment, assistive technology and environmental adaptations to maximise independence.
