Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor

Job overview

We are seeking a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor. The post holder will be part of the wider Occupational Therapy (OT) team and will contribute to the provision of occupational therapy services. You will work in partnership with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to enable service users to reach their recovery potential and develop the skills necessary to manage their mental illness. You will motivate service users and encourage community re‑integration by liaising with suitable local resources to promote social inclusion. OT Technical Instructors support individuals and groups in the Seven Day Therapies Programme, typically working some evenings, bank holidays, a Saturday and a Sunday across four weekends.
