Job Description

What You Will Do

:
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, provincial/state, and local health and safety regulations.

  • Monitor high-risk activities and ensure safe work practices are followed.

  • Reinforce safe work practices through real-time intervention and positive recognition.

  • Conduct routine safety inspections and audits of the facility.

  • Conduct new employee safety orientations.

  • Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings.

  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment.

  • Facilitate ongoing safety training (e.g., WHMIS, PPE, lockout/tagout, confined space, etc.)

  • Conduct behavioral safety observations and deliver constructive feedback.

  • Promote safety awareness and engagement programs.

  • Provide daily field-based safety coaching to frontline employees and supervisors.

  • Promote a proactive safety culture.
